ATGO is built on the idea that women's sports deserve a loud, welcoming, and respectful fan community. These guidelines exist to keep this a space everyone can enjoy.

Be Respectful
Disagree with opinions, not people. Healthy debate is welcome — personal attacks, harassment, or pile-ons are not. Treat fellow fans the way you'd want to be treated at a watch party.
Stay On Topic
Posts should relate to women's sports — games, venues, watch parties, schedules, scores, and community discussion. Off-topic content may be removed without notice.
No Hate Speech
Content that demeans anyone based on gender, race, sexuality, nationality, religion, disability, or any other identity has no place here. Zero tolerance — violations will result in an immediate ban.
No Spam
Repeated posts, unsolicited self-promotion, or low-effort content clutters the feed for everyone. Share things that genuinely add value to the community.
Be Honest
Share real experiences. Don't misrepresent venues, invent events, or post misleading information. Our community's value depends on the accuracy of what members share.
Respect Privacy
Don't share personal information about others without their consent. This includes contact details, photos, or any information that could identify someone without their knowledge.
Enforcement
Posts that violate these guidelines may be removed at the discretion of ATGO moderators. Repeat or serious violations may result in account suspension or a permanent ban. If you see something that doesn't belong, use the report feature or reach out to the moderation team.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ATGO ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use arethegameson.com. By using ATGO, you agree to the practices described here. Last updated: March 2026.

Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and password (stored securely and never in plain text). When you post, comment, vote, or add a location, that content is stored and associated with your account. We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, or any government-issued identification.
How We Use Your Information
Your email address is used solely to send account confirmation and password reset emails. We do not send marketing emails, share your email with third parties, or use it for advertising. Your username and public posts are visible to all visitors of ATGO. Your email address is never displayed publicly.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed database platform with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We use Resend to deliver transactional emails. Neither service sells your data or uses it for advertising purposes.
Cookies
ATGO uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics that identify you personally. No cookie consent banner is required because we only use essential cookies necessary for the site to function.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below. We will process your request within 30 days. If you are located in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Children's Privacy
ATGO is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ATGO after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ATGO at arethegameson.com ("the Site"). By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use ATGO. Last updated: March 2026.

1. Who Can Use ATGO
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or post on ATGO. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we believe belong to users under 13.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must not share your login credentials with others or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you post on ATGO, including posts, comments, and venue submissions. By posting content, you grant ATGO a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content as part of operating the Site. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights, including copyright, defamation, or privacy laws.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use ATGO to: post content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory; impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity; post spam, unsolicited advertising, or repetitive content; attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt the Site's systems or infrastructure; scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission; or violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
5. Content Moderation
ATGO reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or permanently ban any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violations of these Terms or our Code of Conduct. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so to maintain the safety and quality of the community.
6. Venue Information
Venue listings and information submitted by users are provided for informational purposes only. ATGO does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any venue information. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on venue listings, including whether a venue is showing a particular game on a given date.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
ATGO is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the Site.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATGO and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or any harm resulting from content posted by other users.
9. Changes to These Terms

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ATGO shall be resolved in the courts located in New York.
